All of the pages of your project have been printed, now they just need to be bound. We arrange them according to your wishes and finalise them into high-quality products. We offer various methods depending on the print run, budget and the function of the product:
With the perfect binding, we combine the individual signature marks with PUR or hot-melt glue in an automated, cost-effective and high-speed way. This is an ideal process for large products with a high print run, for example catalogues, magazines and phone books. Our machines, of course, allow us to produce smaller print runs because they offer an enormous bandwidth: perfect bindings can be produced with a spine width of 2 mm to 80 mm. Our service goes even further: on request, we can insert supplements, attach booklets, address and attach address labels to catalogues inline, or print on the cut surfaces of the pages. Do you have unusual special production requirements? That’s no problem for us!
Your project has a maximum of 300 pages? That makes saddle stitching an optimum solution. We will merge print products quickly by stitching the signatures with wire stitches. Our work is always appropriate for the target group – on request, we can use selective binding on your product for individual recipients. For the perfect flourish, we can attach CDs to the cover, glue in booklets or add special sample products.
We prepare your products in an optimum manner for dispatch by post: polywrapping is used to protect catalogues, books or brochures from moisture, dirt and damage. Bundling goods together may also make significant savings to postage costs.
School books, lexicons and illustrated books have a shared requirement: despite the fact that they usually come in for frequent use, they should wear as little as possible and remain usable for a long time. For this reason, we recommend thread sewing for hardback books, integrated volumes and brochures. This allows the individual signature marks to be stitched together. Would you like to publish your project in the short term, or do you require a new print run? Thanks to our short production times and many years of experience, that’s no problem. We’ll also be happy to add the finishing touches to your product on request: finishes such as bookmarks, head and tail bands, foil embossing, dust jacket or gold/silver edging can turn your products into Bestsellers.
