Everything at a glance
Your role with us: Your apprenticeship as a media designer (m/f/d) begins with comprehensive basic technical training in our training department. You will learn about our products, production workflows, and technical processes, building a solid foundation for the rest of your apprenticeship.
After the intermediate examination, you will continue your professional specialization in either sales or prepress. This specialization will already be determined during the recruitment process. Your possible areas of focus in detail:
- Sales Focus: In sales, you combine commercial expertise with media design know-how. As a communications professional and process manager, you actively support the team in advising customers and coordinate collaboration between customers and internal departments. From print production through to invoicing, you keep track of every step in the process and ensure that customer requirements are transformed into successful media products.
- Prepress specialization: Here, you ensure that print data is professionally prepared and print jobs are optimally set up for production. Using various Adobe programs as your everyday tools, you act as the link between the creative and production teams and ensure that projects are technically feasible.
This will give you comprehensive insights into the processes of the printing and media industry, allowing you to develop step by step into a skilled professional with technical expertise, organizational talent, and strong project management skills.
Your strengths:
Do you have at least a good secondary school leaving certificate and enjoy working with people? Are you organized, a strong communicator, and a team player? Do you also have good spelling skills, a keen eye for color, and a solid understanding of technology? Then we look forward to meeting you!
