President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry on apprenticeship-tour

On the 1st of July Ortwin Goldbeck, President of the regional CCI, CCI-Chief Executive Thomas Niehoff and CCI-Executive Swen Binner visited the Mohn media on their apprenticeship-tour.
100 apprentices divided into three academic years are employed at the company headquarters in Gütersloh. Every year 31 new apprentices begin their training as media designers, web- and sheet-fed offset printers, bookbinders, industrial mechanics and electronic technicians. This makes Mohn media one of the most committed companies in the region, when it comes to offering apprenticeship opportunities to young people. Markus Schmedtmann, CEO of Mohn media, comments: "Over the last few of years our company has developed extremely well. We are confident that we can master the challenges of the future with the support of skilled specialists who acquire their knowledge through such apprenticeship programs."
